Frequently Asked Questions
Can I order 2-color printing from you?
Our printing process does not match Pantone colors 100%; however, in most cases it is very close. Often we are the most cost-effective way to run your printing instead of offset printing methods for 2-color. Since we are so efficient at producing high-quality 4-color work, 2-color pieces will be priced the same as 4-color. 2-color files will be converted to 4-color process equivalents before printing.
Can I get my order even faster?
Our standard service is quite fast. Most printing projects are completed within 1-2 business days. If you need to receive your printing faster, please contact us directly at 801-270-8888 to make arrangements in this circumstance.
Can you match my printed sample?
There is no guarantee that we can match your printed sample a 100%, but we do our best to try. Color matching can be tricky due to the widely varying results from different output devices including inkjet, laser printers and continuous tone proofing devices. If you are concerned about the color we will provide your first proof, free of charge.
If you require precise color match, please contact us to arrange an appointment for us to review your digital file and allow us to see what adjustments we can make to the file to ensure your satisfaction with the color.
What type of printing process is used?
All products are printed using state-of-the-art, 200-line screen digital print technology.
We use both the RGB and CMYK color spectrum. With this advanced file processing system, we can produce brilliant colors that are sometimes lost in the strictly “CMYK” printing industry.
The end result is high quality, photo-realistic printing at an affordable price.
What types of papers are used?
All of our products are printed on the high quality/smooth finished paper specifically created for our printing process. Cover weight ranges from 80# to 140# gloss or matte finish papers. Text weight ranges from 60# to 100# gloss or matte finished papers.
Custom order stock is available or if you have specific paper you want printed on then feel free to bring it in!
What types of files are accepted?
We accept JPG/JPEG, PDF, EPS, TIFF, Quark, Illustrator, In Design and Photoshop files.
The ideal file is a PRESS QUALITY PDF or EPS file with the fonts converted to outlines for vector files. Recommended file resolution is 300 DPI. We will accept files up to 400 DPI.
Please use a compression utility, such as WinZip or StuffIt when uploading files.
Are there any extra hidden fees?
No! The price you see is the price you pay (excluding sales tax & shipping, if applicable). We pride ourselves with providing the best pricing without sneaking in hidden charges at the bottom of the invoice.
Do I need to impose my print project multiple up?
No. We prefer it that you don’t. Send us a single layout of your job unimposed; we will handle any imposition needed on our end.
Does pricing include projects containing bleeds?
Yes! There are no extra charges for bleeds. We recommend including at least 1/8th of an inch on all sides containing a bleed.
Will I receive exactly the quantity I order?
Most of the time, we print slightly more than you ordered, free of charge. This will range anywhere from 10 to 50 extra pieces. We want make sure that you or your customer are never short
handed.
